The new edition of the youth employment fair „TreballemGi“ has been a great success

The sixth edition of the youth employment fair „TreballemGi“, organised by the Girona Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the Girona Provincial Council, the Catalan Government and the University of Girona, was held on Wednesday 10th November. With more than 400 young people registered and 53 companies, including Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods, more than 300 offers were managed in just one day.

The „TreballemGi“ youth employment fair is a virtual space that allows companies to publish the different job offers that suit them and then conduct job interviews in direct contact with the different candidates. It is a very useful initiative both for companies, as they have the opportunity to easily find good profiles for their jobs, and for students who are looking for a job, as they have the opportunity to attend several interviews on the same day and have a better chance of finding a job they like. This fair also creates a shared networking space with the other participating companies from which we can all benefit.

In addition to the above, this telematic platform also provides information sessions of interest to young people looking to start in the world of work, such as sessions on the different opportunities that can be found on social networks, how to create CVs correctly, the most valued skills in the market, …
