We continue to make progress on our plastic reduction plan

In 2019 we started our plastic reduction plan with the goal of 25% less plastic by 2025. We are redesigning trays to be more efficient with more product quantity and less plastic used, replacing single-use plastics with longer-lasting plastics (which we have been working on for years with increasingly better results), seeking to increase the proportion of recycled (second life) and recyclable (for later reuse) plastics.

To make the information more tangible and our year-on-year change more understandable, our plastic reduction in 2021 is equivalent to the amount of plastic it would take to create 32 million bags or 6 million bottles.

We continue to work towards our sustainability goals and the Sustainable Development Goals of the 2030 Agenda.
