Our fuet and Ham leading products on the first course of the 21º AECOC Congress

We were present at the 21º AECOC Congress of meat and processed meat products, on 21 and 22 September in Lleida. This congress aims to bring together farmers, producers, processors and distributors in the sector to discuss how we can prepare ourselves to compete successfully in the new scenario.

Costa Brava Mediterranean Foods products were successfully represented at the congress dinner with a dish prepared with our fuet and ham. Our delicacy was the protagonist for the first course of the congress dinner and it was a delight designed for the event: a tartar of fuets, pumpkin and pear with aniseed, white garlic, tender almonds and crispy ham.

This dish was enjoyed by all the diners, specialists and managers from the meat and retail sector who attended the congress.

 

The AECOC congress was also a success, as usual. There were two intense days of debates and presentations on the evolution of the sector, in which, among other topics, we discussed about the great preparation and the essential role in society that the Spanish meat sector continues to play in one of the most challenging times for the world.

 Given the current situation, we must all work together to clear up the unknowns and make the most of the different opportunities that arise.
